Junior Thomas Wanek is the son of Alan and Cindy Wanek. Thomas is an Economics and Biology major and is planning on applying for medical school next summer. Thomas is currently employed as a math mentor for the highly gifted at Huntington Elementary. Thomas is an Omaha World Herald Top Scholar as well as a recipient of the Michael Clarkson Ryan Scholarship (one of eight Beta Theta Pi National Founders Scholarships throughout the nation). Thomas is the Vice President of Communications for Beta Gamma Sigma, a business honor society and has served as Technology Chair for Beta Theta Pi. Last summer Thomas traveled abroad in Europe and studied Economics at Oxford University. This summer, beyond acting as recruitment chair, Thomas is renovating an upstairs commons room in Beta into a four man room to increase the live-in capacity of the house. |

Junior Kraig is the son of Mike and Denise Steckler of Broken Bow, Nebraska. Kraig is a Biology major with the intent to go to Medical School after college. He currently is a member of the Nebraska Human Resources Institute. He has attended several leadership development conferences such as Futures Quest, an interfraternity leadership conference in Indianapolis, Indiana; the John Wooden Institute, an all Beta leadership conference; and the Keystone Regional Leadership Conference in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is the past Involvement Chairman for Beta and currently serves as Pledge Educator. |

Junior Andrew is the son of Rita and Michael Dowd. He was born and grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska. He attended Lincoln Southwest High School, where he was involved in basketball and tennis. He is a Biochemistry major and is involved in such organizations such as NU Meds and the Pre-Med Club. Besides being involved in recruitment for the Alpha Tau chapter for Beta Theta Pi he is currently pledge class social chairman. Last winter, Andrew attended Futures Quest, an interfraternity leadership conference in Indianapolis, Indiana. After his undergraduate degree, Andrew plans to attend medical or dental school. |
